H9B SERIES

Application:

The H9B Series Basic Filter Holding Frame is designed for use exclusively with press-fit fasteners in ASHRAE built-up filter banks in order to facilitate a leak-free system (Refer to the H9 Series Fastener Tech Sheet for more information).

The frame is used for applications requiring any combination of panel, rigid and bag-type air filters on the upstream or downstream sides of the frame. The H9B Series standard sizes make it easy to engineer a new system or retrofit to existing installations. Below highlight the various combinations of filters:

– Any 1”, 2” or 4” deep panel or pleated filter
– Any 6” or 12” deep rigid filter
– Any headered style rigid or pocket filter

Construction:

The H9B Series frame is available in 2”, 3” and 4” frame depths. It is constructed of two corner sections of 18 gauge metal that is secured with a patented “talon lock” system and strategically placed TAC welds to ensure a rigid and durable assembly.

The filter frame includes a 3/4” flange to seal the filter and is available with a closed cell PVC foam gasket. This frame is designed for use with press-fit fasteners, which attach to the retaining flange of the frame. Each frame is supplied with pre-punched holes for field assembly and with dimples to keep filters centered against the retaining flange.
